I dedicate these thoughts and words and unconditional love I have, to my brother, Dougie Mann. He was the most kindest, giving, loving brother and uncle to me and my children, Joel and Ebony. When he was well, he was always there for my mother and able to help her when she wasn't well, and at most times when she needed him. When well, he enjoyed a relationship, with both his sisters, Angie and Denise and their extended families, nieces, nephews and husbands. He was so grateful for all the loving care and help offered by his close friend, former partner and caregiver, John Hibbs, without whom he ( once sick) could not have managed. I know he would want to give a big thank you to all the staff who helped at St John's Hospice Daycare Centre and the hospital staff. He had good friends when he was well, one who was helpful after he passed was Mark. One of the most loved and cherished people in his life was his partner Hans who sadly passed away before my brother. Dougie looked after Hans when sick and never truly got over his loss. My brother Dougie when well, enjoyed a long career in television, theatre and film professionally and was very happy in his achievements in this industry. Dougie had a passion for enjoying life to the fullest and I can only say I will miss him as we were so very close and I think of him each and every day we are apart. I am trying to release him which is still very hard for me. Your loving sis Miriam XOX
